PHYSICAL AND MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF RAIN GUTTER FITTINGS

Test Test Method Requirement Test Conditions
Heating Effect EN 763 Should not present crack at wall thicknesses in the mould trace point. kept under 150 °C for 15 min.
Thermal Stability   No deformation 3 samples at 65 + 2 °C for 30 + 2 min.
Vicat Softening Temperature TS EN 727 Should not soften up to minimum 75 °C

Fittings Appearance: When looked without lens, internal and external surfaces must be smooth and clean, there should not be surface defects such as bubbles and dints.

Shape and Dimensions of Fittings: Fittings must be complied with shape and profile dimensions of rain gutters.

SYSTEM COMPLIANCE OF RAIN GUTTERS

Test Test Method Requirement Test Conditions
Artificial Ageing Xenon Test TS 8106-2 ISO 4892-2 2.6 Gj/m2, Water Cycle, at 45+3ºC, at %50+5 relative humidity, 3' / 17'
Color Fastness   Color Change
TS 423-2 EN
Should not exceed number 3 in grey scale given in 20105-A02
3 samples at 65 + 2 °C for 30 + 2 min.
Shrinkage after Ageing
Impact Resistance
ISO 8256 Minimum 50% of the value before artificial ageing 23+2ºC da
Water Tightness Test TS EN 607 No deformation Water is circulated at 50+2ºC for 15 min, at 15+2ºC for 10 min. Water flow rate must be 18 L/min.

For necessary tests, a system is engendered with joining rain gutters and fittings.
