SPRINKLER IRRIGATION PIPES

Sprinkler irrigation is a method that conveys water from the source to the field in a closed circuit under a specific pressure and then sprinkles it as drips.

SPRINKLER IRRIGATION TYPES

Mobile Systems: All parts from main pipes to lateral pipes are mobile in such systems where pump unit is stationary or mobile. These systems can be moved to different points on the field or from one field to another.

Semi-mobile Systems : System that consists of buried main pipes, pump unit and mobile lateral pipes. Semi-mobile sprinkler irrigation systems is the most widespread system in the world. Particularly used for irrigation of agricultural fields, pastures, vegetable and fruit plantations.

Stationary Systems:  In this system pump unit, main pipe and lateral pipes are fixed and therefore main pipe and lateral pipes cannot be moved since they are buried. Stationary systems are mainly used for citrus fruit cultivation, fruit plantations and permanent pastures.
